16. Kansas City Chiefs- 6.53 Billion
The most shocking team that has been ranked in terms of the valuation of its franchise. Especially as the Kansas City Chiefs are the modern NFL dynasty team, with three Super Bowls and five appearances in the Mahomes Era. Along with the Chiefs fanbase growing with the Swifties, the number wowed many. Maybe if the rumors of Taylor Swift buying into ownership are true, then the value could rise even more? Commissioner Roger Goodell already gave Swift approval to put a bid in if she is interested.Â
17. Pittsburgh Steelers- $6.52 Billion
The Steelers may have had a 17% increase in value, but unfortunately, there comes bad news. They dropped two spots in the ranking. Last year, they were the 15th most valued NFL franchise. Now, for the Steelers, they were only a few million away from overtaking the Kansas City Chiefs, so they’re not too far apart from them value-wise.
18. Green Bay Packers- $6.48 Billion
The piece from Sportico showcased that the Packers had a great year financially. Not only did they rise one spot higher in the valued franchise list, but the Packers also had a 20% increase in their value. That’s not bad for the only NFL franchise that is publicly owned. They even got bragging rights over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well. Speaking of which.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- $6.47 Billion
It has to sting the Buccaneers that they were a few million dollars away from having a higher NFL franchise valuation. There is more bad news for the Buccaneers. They dropped three spots from 16th in 2024 to 19th in 2025. On a positive note, they did increase in value by 18%.
20. Minnesota Vikings- $6.28 Billion
The Vikings stayed at the same spot they were last year as the 20th most valued NFL franchise. Minnesota had an 18% increase in its value, reaching $6.28 billion. That’s not bad for the Wilf family, who invested $600 million to buy the NFL franchise in 2005.
