Davis’ Outlook Heading Into 2025-26
Anthony Davis’ outlook appears to be positive heading into the 2025-26 NBA season. As long as he’s healthy, Davis can help the Dallas Mavericks get back on track. Davis’ veteran leadership and ferocious defense maintain relevance in the NBA.
Davis played just nine games for the Mavericks after the trade for Luka Doncic. However, Davis’ stats were solid, as Davis averaged 20 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. Davis can help guide the new-look Mavericks team, alongside Kyrie Irving and No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg, this upcoming season.
Final Thoughts
Anthony Davis is set to make $54.1 million this season, $58.5 million next season, and has a player option at $62.8 million for the 2027-28 NBA season. Davis appeared to end his relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers. Hopefully, Dallas Mavericks fans won’t see Davis list a Dallas-area mansion in the near future.
