According to Jordan Schultz, Sanders is cured of his cancer and tumor of which he had surgery on just recently. Coach Sanders had a combined 14 surgeries during the spring and offseason to rid himself of his health issues. The Colorado Buffaloes football coach spoke about his experiences during his press conference, stating, “God is good” after losing 25 pounds since having the surgical procedure, but things will still not be easy for Sanders moving forward.

As Sanders enters his third season with the Colorado Buffaloes, the team will look different in 2025. Ex-Colorado stars Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are now in the NFL with separate organizations. After coming off a 9-4 record in 2024, the Colorado Buffaloes look to be even better in the upcoming campaign in Boulder.
