New York Knicks Center Karl-Anthony Towns With Historic Playoff Run
New York Knicks Center Karl-Anthony Towns has had an inconsistent 2025 NBA Playoffs. Even though that has been the case, he joined a Knicks legend with his postseason performance. He joined Patrick Ewing as the only other New York Knicks player to score 300+ points and grab 150+ rebounds in a single postseason. Ewing accomplished this feat during the 1994 NBA Playoffs. Will Towns help lead the Knicks to victory in a crucial Game 4 tonight?
New York Knicks Need a Big Performance From Towns

Towns arguably saved New York’s season with his performance in Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers. He scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Towns’ performance helped the New York Knicks prevail 106-100 to trail 2-1 in the series. If he would not have had a fourth-quarter explosion, New York could presumably be down 3-0 heading into tonight’s contest.
While Towns is a great three-point shooter, he could rely too much on that shot at times. Indiana has been unable to deal with Towns inside during the Eastern Conference Finals. Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner are good players, but they have had no answer for Towns down low. He will look to build upon his Game 3 performance and help lead the New York Knicks to victory tonight.
Final Thoughts
A solid performance from Towns will be imperative for New York to leave Indiana with the series tied at 2. He has struggled to put consecutive good games together during this playoff run. For example, after shooting 71% from the field in Game 1 against the Detroit Pistons, he followed it up with a 10-point performance. All eyes will be on the big man as he looks to save New York from being on the brink of elimination.
