He joined Patrick Ewing as the only other New York Knicks player to score 300+ points and grab 150+ rebounds in a single postseason. Ewing accomplished this feat during the 1994 NBA Playoffs. Towns arguably saved New York’s season with his performance in Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers. He scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Towns’ performance helped the New York Knicks prevail 106-100 to trail 2-1 in the series. If he would not have had a fourth-quarter explosion, New York could presumably be down 3-0 heading into tonight’s contest.

While Towns is a great three-point shooter, he could rely too much on that shot at times. Indiana has been unable to deal with Towns inside during the Eastern Conference Finals.
