Liverpool Star Ready To Return Ahead of the Big Clash against Wolves

Liverpool was without their Star Goalkeeper Alisson in their last Premier League game, which was against Bournemouth. The Reds had used Kelleher in replacement of the Brazilian. It was reported that Alisson was out injured. However, in the latest press conference, it was revealed by their coach Arne Slot that the Brazilian is already training and ready for the game ahead.

Liverpool has had a beautiful start to the season, winning four out of five games in the Premier League. The only setback was a one-nil loss at home to Nottingham Forest. However, after the game, the Reds maintained a red-hot form. Both in the league, in the Champions League, and the Carabao Cup. Arne Slot will be looking forward to seeing his side edge beyond a tricky Wolves side ahead on Saturday.

The Liverpool manager gave a positive update on the Brazilian Goalkeeper. He said the Brazilian had trained and his ready for the fixture ahead. He also gave praises to Kelleher who was his second choice after his display in Liverpool’s past two games, which were against West Ham in the Carabao Cup and Bournemouth in the league.

Slot said: “We think he is (ready to return),” Slot said of the Brazilian. “He trained yesterday for part of our session, we expect him to do the whole session today. We’re really happy, but I want to emphasize we did really well with the two games with (Kelleher). Another example of where we have two or three good options in some positions.

Slot on his attack

Arne Slot boasted of his attacking prowess and was very confident of them ahead of the Wolves game. Liverpool was able to score 11 goals in their past 3 games which seems pretty impressive. The Reds will be hoping to continue that as they challenge Wolves for an important three-point.

He said: “For me, it says two things, The players have a lot of quality and the team are always creating chances for the players that are selected for that game. Because we have so much quality, we can create assists or goals.”

He added concerning his weekend opponent: “I don’t think it represents how they (Wolves) have played, they have had very difficult fixtures and you have to take this into account, I’ve watched some of their games, they should have got more than they got. They will be fine at the end of the season.”

What’s Ahead for Liverpool

After the Reds’ clash against Wolves at the Molineux, they’ll host Bologna in the League phase of the UEFA Champions League. Their last game at the UCL saw them edge past AC Milan at the San Siro. Arne Slot will be hoping his side can keep maintaining the winning streak. He seems to have great confidence in his squad and players.

The following week for the Reds will be a tough trip to Crystal Palace. In the aftermath will be another international break. Arne Slot will hope his side can enter the break with a good moment.
