The outgoing Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez’s future at the club has been as unpredictable as a rally car on a winding track. After completing a U-turn on his decision to exit the club this summer, Xavi was ultimately dismissed by the club president, Joan Laporta, and the board due to his statements about the club’s economic and financial situation. Regardless of all the situations, Xavi’s love for the club never faded, and he has stated that he would love to return to Camp Nou someday.

“I am fine. It’s been tough last week, but I have my conscience very clear. I’m proud and happy. When we got here we knew it was a difficult time for the club and I think we can be proud of the work we have done.”
