Henderson

Running Back TreVeyon Henderson has reportedly been a prospect in high demand with the 2025 NFL Draft less than two weeks from getting underway. He has visited the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and Carolina Panthers. He also reportedly met with other NFL teams over Zoom during the pre-draft process. He is the 31st-ranked prospect in the draft class according to ESPN.

According to an NFL evaluator, he will be a sought-after prospect. Here is what one had to say.One of the most exciting players in the draft and a very clean prospect. Home run threat every touch who can hurt you lining up out wide. Very dangerous in space. Multiple Pro Bowl caliber talent.Henderson is coming off a National Championship with Ohio State. He finished with 1,016 rushing yards as part of a running back platoon with Quinshon Judkins. Which team will end up drafting Henderson?

Which Team Would Be the Best Fit For Henderson?

The Dallas Cowboys are in dire need of a running back. They signed Running Backs Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams this offseason. While these are solid veteran backs, they are not a permanent answer at the position. The Cowboys will draft No. 12 overall. They have also been linked to Boise State Running Back Ashton Jeanty this offseason.

The Cincinnati Bengals, coming off back-to-back missed postseasons, will be looking to bounce back in 2025. Cincinnati has doubled down on offense by re-signing their star wide receiver duo Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Henderson would be another example of that. The team will draft No. 18.

Final Thoughts

The resurgence of the running back will help Henderson’s NFL Draft stock. Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry are coming off career seasons. Whichever team drafts him will get a No. 1 running back. He had a strong collegiate career and will look to hit the ground running in the National Football League.
