The Tennessee Titans reportedly have interest in veteran Quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason. Tennessee views him as a bridge quarterback and a mentor to a young quarterback they hope to hand the team over to following Rodgers’ departure.
Rodgers is no stranger to mentoring a young quarterback since that was the situation he was foisted into when the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. The team drafted his replacement, Jordan Love, to replace the future Hall of Famer. While that decision torched the relationship between Rodgers and the franchise, the two parties have spoken highly of their time working together with one another. Will Rodgers be a good fit with the Tennessee Titans in 2025?

Rodgers had a decent year statistically but is clearly not the quarterback he was during his Packers tenure. He finished eighth in passing yards, tied for seventh in passing touchdowns, and 25th in QBR. Rodgers’ season can be split into two halves. He struggled during the first half but came on strong at the end of the 2024-25 season.
He had 18 touchdowns over his final 10 games. If Rodgers were to sign with the Tennessee Titans, it would be an uphill battle. They finished 3-14 and have the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Titans seemingly do not have any long-term answers at the quarterback position with options like former second-round pick Will Levis. With such a high draft pick, Tennessee could be targeting either Colorado Quarterback Shedeur Sanders or Miami Quarterback Cam Ward in April’s draft.
Final Thoughts
While the Tennessee Titans may not be an ideal spot for the quarterback to end his illustrious career, Rodgers may not have many options. He has been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, but it remains unclear if that is an option the team is interested in.
Rodgers is no longer one of the best 15 quarterbacks in the league, and there will not be many teams knocking down the door of an eclectic 41-year-old quarterback. When Rodgers was with the Packers his off-field antics were pushed aside, but now with his diminished performance, all facets of Rodgers must be considered. The Tennessee Titans face a big decision this offseason regarding whether or not getting into the Rodgers business is the one for them.
