The match between Roxanne Perez and Guilia was an interesting match to watch. Roxanne Perez took out Giulia in her first-ever title match in WWE during Tuesday’s NXT premiere on The CW. While the referee was distracted on the other side of the ring, Cora Jade took the opportunity to interfere and played an important role in the result of the match.
She sided with Roxanne and to help her. She roughly pulled Giulia out of the ring and hit her with a DDT, but the referee did not notice. After beating her, Jade then pushed Giulia back into the ring where Perez had time to knock her down with her Pop Rocks move to win the wrestling match.
Guilia giving a tough time to Roxanne Perez
This was Guilia’s first match in the NXT championship and she was scheduled to face Roxanne in her first match. A few months ago rumors were circulating that WWE had already signed Giulia. However, instead of immediately heading to the United States, she left Stardom and assisted its founder, Rossy Ogawa, in establishing his new female professional wrestling company, Marigold.
This created lots of speculation on when Giulia would debut in WWE. However, the wait was over last month at the No Mercy premium live event after Roxanne Perez retained her title against Jaida Parker. The entrance music for Giulia hit and she came into WWE for the first time, culminating with her staring down at Perez, setting up for the next episode.
Roxanne Perez tries to Dominate
In the current match, after some grappling Giulia then elbowed and Perez elbowed her back and this series went on for some time. After that, we see both of them on the ground trying to have the Pin earlier. Perez goes to the top rope, however, Giulia cuts her off and hits her with the butterfly suplex from up there. Perez kicks out. Both of them try to lock in submissions on each other, and Giulia turns Perez’s cross-face into an STF.
Perez tries to come free by holding the bottom rope but the challenger manages to respond by kneeing her at his Pop Rocks but Perez kicks out. Perez gives Giulia Pop Rocks but Giulia quickly rolls out of the ring to avoid the pinfall. Now both of them were on the floor as Perez dragged Guilia out of the ring, bumped her head into the ground, and hit her with a Northern Lights Bomb on the floor.
Unknown Person with a Hoodie
Both wrestlers are almost down on the count. When the referee is turning back towards Giulia, an unknown person in a hooded vest quickly reaches out of the ring and performs a DDT to Giulia on the floor. The unknown person pushes Giulia back into the ring and Perez delivers Pop Rocks to get the win.
All of the crowd’s eyes were set on the face of that unknown person’s face and at last, she took off her hoodie and to everyone’s surprise, it was Cora Jade.
