Chef Boyardee Partners with Hyak Motorsports and Stenhouse Jr.
Chef Boyardee is officially teaming up with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the No. 47 Hyak Motorsports team for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Itโs always cool to see a brand we grew up with jumping into the sport, and this pairing feels like a solid fit. On Monday, the team announced that Chef Boyardee will serve as a primary sponsor for three key races and remain an associate sponsor for the entire season.
Stenhouse to Debut New Look at The Clash
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., the 2023 Daytona 500 champ, seemed pretty pumped about the partnership in the press release. He mentioned that bringing a household name like Chef Boyardee into NASCAR is something the whole crew is looking forward to.
We wonโt have to wait long to see the new paint scheme, either. The No. 47 Chevrolet will rock the Chef Boyardee colors starting at The Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on Sunday, February 1. After that preseason exhibition, the brand returns for the big show, the Daytona 500, on February 15 before wrapping up its primary run at Talladega Superspeedway on April 26.
A Long-Standing Relationship Continues
Brynwood Partners, the company behind Chef Boyardee, has actually been in Stenhouseโs corner for over a decade. Henk Hartong, CEO of Brynwood, spoke highly of Ricky, calling him an “incredible ambassador” for their brands over the last 12 years.
Itโs nice to see that kind of loyalty in racing. Hartong noted they are especially excited to see the car at the Daytona and Talladega tracks, where Ricky has previously parked it in Victory Lane.

What This Means for Fans
Beyond just a logo on a hood, the sponsorship promises some fun stuff for us fans. The press release teased on-car branding, digital content, and fan activations designed to connect the audience at home and at the track.
Stenhouse is coming off a mixed 2025 season where he started strong but battled some tough luck (and a little drama with Carson Hocevar to finish 30th in the standings. With a fresh year and a classic sponsor on board, heโll be looking to bounce back in a big way in 2026.
