Ohio State’s football team had a complete effort, and they were able to play their second-string players in the second half. There were some notable performances on the football field in the game, which are detailed in the next section.

Nevertheless, Ohio State looked every part of the No. 2 college football team in the nation. Ohio State looked very much like a college football national championship contender.

Even though Donovan Jackson did not play in the football game, the offensive line played much better and did an excellent job in pass protection. As evidenced by Ohio State’s six rushing touchdowns, the offensive line did a much better job than in the first football game of the season.

Will Howard

The transfer Quarterback Will Howard had a much better game this time. This had as much to do with the excellent play of the offensive line and the aggressive play-calling of new Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly. Howard Started 9 for 9 and finished 18 for 26 for 292 yards and one touchdown. He threw no interceptions and had an accurate game. He exited after 2 1/2 quarters because the Ohio State football team built up such a lead. He gave way to the backups, according to plan.

The Two-Headed Football Monster

The two-headed monster the Ohio State football team has at running back is Quinshon Judkins and Treyvon Henderson. Both had great games against Western Michigan. He had an 80-yard touchdown run called back because of a holding penalty. Henderson had 10 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns. He now has 35 in his Ohio State career.
