The team’s level of success this season is too much to rattle off. With a winning percentage of .842, it is the third-best winning percentage in league history. The 2024-2025 Oklahoma City Thunder also have the best point differential in the history of the NBA. The Thunder also have a whopping 14.5-game lead over the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
Oklahoma City’s offense has been tremendous this season. They are fourth in points scored, sixth in field goal percentage, and sixth in three-point percentage. The team has been led by Point Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He is the odds-on favorite to win the 2024-2025 NBA MVP. SGA is leading the league in points per game by a wide margin and is 13th in assists.
Oklahoma City’s defense has also been great. They are second in points allowed, leading the league in opposing field goal percentage, leading the league in opposing three-point percentage, and the league leader in steals.
