Utah Mammoth Fall To New York Islanders 3-2 In Another OT Thriller

The Mammoth from Utah may have only just gotten a name, but they are a good team. However, they were not good enough to defeat the Islanders, who prevailed 3-2 in overtime. The biggest news of this game between the Islanders and Mammoth was the overtime winner scored by Matthew Schaefer.

Mammoth Lose 3-2 in OT Thriller 

The Mammoth beat Buffalo last night 5-2. Here is a scoring summary from the game. In the first period, Emil Heinean scored for the Islanders, giving them a 1-0 lead. However, J.J. Worth mentioning is Islanders Captain Andres Lee. Lee earns $7 million per year. He must score every game to be worth that money.

This was the first home loss for the Mammoth, who are now 5-1-1 at home. Schaefer now has 15 points, which is the most among rookies. He is a defenseman. Typically, they do not score much, so his offensive output is outstanding.
