Philadelphia Eagles Trade for 24-Year-Old RB Ahead of Week 2
The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the top offenses in the National Football League and continue to be aggressive in making the team even better. The team was able to secure a win to open the season against the Dallas Cowboys. However, things continue to get better for the defending Super Bowl champions as they have traded with an AFC team to get some more depth to their roster. Let’s take a closer look at who they have acquired.
Philadelphia Eagles Trade for Tank Bigsby
The Eagles have been incredibly active in the trade market, as in the last few weeks, the team has traded for wide receiver John Metchie III, quarterback Sam Howell, offensive tackle Fred Johnson, offensive tackle Darian Kennard, and now Bigsby.
Bigsby is in his third year in the NFL and the 24-year-old has been a backup running back behind Travis Etienne Jr. So far in his career, Bigsby has played in 34 games and recorded 223 rushing attempts for 910 yards (4.1 yards per carry) with nine rushing touchdowns as well as eight receptions for 60 yards (7.5 yards per catch). It will be interesting to see how the Philadelphia Eagles are going to utilize Bigsby as a result of this trade.
