The Main Prospect The Houston Texans Must Select In 2026 NFL Draft (April Fools Edition)
Welcome to April, Texans fans. After yet another disappointing playoff run, many fans are questioning whether members of this franchise are going to be the long-term answers. Well, lucky for the Texans, they have the NFL Draft coming up, and they have an opportunity to improve. There is one player who makes the most logical choice. The Houston Texans are now on the clock for this draft.
The Biggest Team Need For The Houston Texans
It was obvious what the number 1 need was for the Houston Texans in the playoffs. The offensive line was brutal, and CJ Stroud had no time to make plays in the game against the Patriots. Those who say CJ Stroud is the main problem clearly have not watched Texans games, as he has gotten no help from his o-line.
Its time for the Texans to rebuild this offensive line. That’s why they signed players like Wyatt Teller and Braden Smith to contracts. The Texans need more, and with their first-round pick, they need a guy who is loyal and going to give everything they have to succeed.
With The 28th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Texans Select – OT Tacitus Kilgore (Saint Denis College)

Now this is a bold pick because Tacitus Kilgore has strong hand-eye coordination. His level of awareness and reaction time is scary, as he can be quick to react, picking up blitzes. His hand and foot movement is super clean, and he does a great job moving heavy objects and being a brick wall during games. I mean, he is so strong that he allegedly moved a cannon by himself. Kilgore claims that it was a trip to Guam, or as he calls it Guarma.
This man has mainly kept quiet for a few years, but he has made the choice to strike it rich in the NFL. With his athletic gift and his good attitude that many communities have noticed, the Texans want to take a chance and develop him. Were desperate here, so to draft his high potential, the organization is using there first to get him.
The Two Issues With Kilgore
Now we have to address the three major concerns with Kilgore’s play.
1. Gang Affiliation Rumors
The first is the off-field issues, as the rumors have not been good. Especially as being an alleged member of the Van Der Linde Gang. Apparently, we don’t know if that’s his real name. There are rumors that famed gunslinger Arthur Morgan uses the Kilgore name to hide from his crimes. Knowing what that gang allegedly did is terrible stuff. He may look similar to the footage we have seen, but with his build, he can easily fit into the Texans’ roster.
We will ensure good people surround and guide him off the field. Heck, maybe we could learn more about his love for riding horses, fishing, hunting, and that hat collection. The guy is marketable to the Houston market for that alone, it’s impressive.
2. Health Issues
Another issue with Kilgore is his health. He has had a very notable cough that has us concerned. Also, he has been known to be at bars and the drinking rumors are a concern for everybody. We got to make sure his health is in order and that he stops bringing this bizarre looking gum to games. When healthy this man knows how to fight and protect the ones he is close with.
3. Allegedly Gambling Habit
The fear as well is that we may have an alleged Pete Rose Betting Association member in the making here. There have been stories of him gambling money and openly doing gambler challenges, too. Especially when playing games like Blackjack, Dominoes, Five Finger Filet, and Poker. That could be a serious problem for us, especially the poker stuff with what happened to Terry Rozier, Chauncey Billups, and Damon Jones.
The Texans Score Another Anchor To That Offensive Line
The Texans need more linemen at this point, and Kilgore will help. Guy is an athletic freak and can easily help give Stroud some more time. It will be interesting to see if the goal is for him to improve as a run blocker or as a pass protector. Or will the Texans start from scratch, teaching him the basics and going on from there?
There is a simple answer, April Fools. Of course there not gonna draft a video game character from Red Dead Redemption 2. Imagine if they did, though, many fans would be so confused and social media would have broken.
