The Main Prospects The Dallas Cowboys Must Select In 2026 NFL Draft (April Fools Edition)
Welcome to April, Dallas Cowboys fans. It’s another year, and another wasted season. What else is new? This team has wasted so many opportunities year after year. Well, the draft can provide new ones for the Cowboys to improve. Well lets see the 2 best prospects they can take with there 1st round picks. The Dallas Cowboys are now on the clock.
What is The Main Goals For The Dallas Cowboys In This Draft
Jerry Jones has two main goals heading into this draft class: stopping the run and becoming a star player. He doesn’t care about the off-the-field issues, as long as you can stop the run and play football your good. That’s why we take chances on players like Adam “Pacman” Jones, Greg Hardy, Josh Brent, etc. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance as long as you can stop the run and play football. Also, stop complaining about the curtains; they stay open.
With The 12th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Cowboys Select – FB Gavin McKenna (Penn State)

Alright were pretty confused here. A player who is constantly ranked as the number 1 recruit in the 2026 Draft has fallen to us, and we don’t get it. Gavin McKenna is hands down the best prospect in the 2026 draft.
This guy has it all to succeed in the NFL. The speed, playmaking ability, leadership, blocking, nasty mentality, etc. He can be a phenomenal fullback for this offense. While his job isn’t to stop the run, it is to protect our quarterback and running back. Yes, there was the whole felony charge scandal involving him, but what’s the rule in Dallas? Can he play football and has talent for the future? He does, so who cares?
Also, too bad, so sad Eagles fans. We stole a Pennsylvania legend; he is our legend now. This is what you get for drafting Dallas Goedert years ago and not talking to us on AJ Brown trades. Eh, we have our own piece of work in George Pickens as the number 1 receiver. Gavin McKenna will be a fine choice here. I do have a question: how come every time we type an F in the draft board, the letter H shows up? That’s a tech department issue, doesn’t matter.
With The 20th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Cowboys Select – QB Johnny Manziel (Texas A & M)

Finally, Jerry gets to do the thing he wanted to do 12 years ago. He gets to draft Johnny Manziel. It’s been a few years since he last played football, but Jerry always has the what if in that year’s draft. Maybe he could have helped him, because Jerry was impressed that Manziel was a bigger star in Texas for college football than the Cowboys were. Dak Prescott is great, but it’s time for a QB change. Were replacing a 32-year-old with a 33-year-old at QB.
Now, there have been a ton of stories of Manziel being a trainwreck off the field. He didn’t come across well in that Netflix documentary that was made about him. Including the DUIs, partying, watching no film, and dedication issues. However, he has never been to JerryWorld, and knowing Jerry Jones’s lifestyle, he would fit perfectly in his inner circle. Jerry will be the one to motivate him and show him how to stop the run by just passing.
Welcome To Jerryworld & How About Them Cowboys
Welcome to Jerryworld Mr McKenna and Manziel. After all, everything is bigger in Texas, including the egos, stadium, practice facilities, and even the money. Jerry will do anything to get a Super Bowl before he passes away. The best way for him to do that is to bring both of these guys to his team.
How About Them Cowboys. Give me a Yeehaw and a Happy April Fools. Gosh, I love this day, but imagine if Jerry actually decides to do this with the Cowboys this year. Nah, as long as the Cowboys can stop the run and keep the curtains open during games, that’s all that matters.
