Oladipo entered the NBA with great fanfare. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Orlando Magic. His career also included stints with the Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Miami Heat. The best year of his career came in 2017-18 when he was a member of the Indiana Pacers. He was named Most Improved Player, earned Third Team All-NBA honors, and was named First Team All-Defense. He is also a two-time NBA All-Star(2018, 2019).
Final Thoughts
It is unclear which NBA team will give Oladipo another shot in the NBA. Once one of the league’s most electric players has seen his career upended by injuries. At only 33, the two-time All-Star will look to write a new chapter in his NBA story.
