The NASCAR FS1 Craftsman series race is live in Atlanta today! The race kicked off at 1:30 PM EST, and we had early coverage from Todd Bodine and Josh Sims right as everything took off! While Connor Mosack held firm, driving his 81 truck and owning the track through each lap during Stage 1! Jack Wood followed him closely, and Ankrum kept close during this stage as well. The intensity is already rising today, and this will surely be an interesting Saturday in Atlanta for racing fans!
NASCAR FS1 Craftsman Starting Coverage
Starting the NASCAR FS1 coverage out with Daytona energy seeping in and mixing with today’s excitement from Bodine was a great way to start things off! While many watched and some even attended the race in person, the Daytona 500 has definitely kept fans energized and ready for more! After Bodine finished speaking, he was followed by Sims, who seemed enthusiastic and eager for today! Sims sported his famous smile almost the whole time while he spoke, kicking off the start of the race with great energy!
While equally lively professionals are covering the main event, there is something about hearing and seeing both Bodine and Sims start off with early thoughts on this race today! The overcast skies did have some sunlight, but the skies quickly turned grey. Thankfully, Bodine’s excitement and Sims’ eagerness and smile kept things cheery despite the weather. Positive energy can really impact events more than most realize! These two were a great choice to feature right before things kicked off!
A Sudden Sneak Up!
While Mosack held firm nearly the whole first stage, there was a sudden change of events towards the end! Mosack was really owning the track in Atlanta as things kicked off, but right toward the end, Jack Wood saw his moment and took it! Wood had been tailing Mosack closely during the first stage and took first place for stage one! Despite Mosack’s firm grip and complete domination during this stage, Wood still managed to catch up and take first place. There are sure to be more twists for the rest of the NASCAR Craftsman race! Maybe we will even get to experience both Bodine and Sims again today!
