Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani has continued to take the league by storm on the mound in 2026. He held down a potent Toronto Blue Jays lineup this afternoon up in Canada. Ohtani surrendered an unearned run in six innings of work. He did not factor into the decision for this game as LA lost 4-3. He has not surrendered an earned run in 12 innings on the mound in 2026. Can the Japanese phenom keep flummoxing the opposition?

Shohei Ohtani’s 2026 Season

Ohtani’s hitting has lagged behind his pitching a few weeks into the regular season. He is hitting .267 this year with 3 home runs and 8 RBI. As one of the best players in MLB history, fans expect him to tear the cover off the ball every time he steps up to the plate.
