Los Angeles Clippers-Center Brook Lopez Agree On 2-Year Deal
The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to a two-year $18 million deal with veteran Center Brook Lopez a few hours into 2025 NBA Free Agency. Lopez is coming off a stellar season with the Milwaukee Bucks. He averaged 13 points per game and 5 rebounds during the regular season. How will Lopez fit with the Los Angeles Clippers?

Lopez will join a Clippers squad being anchored by older players. The team signed veteran Guard James Harden to a two-year $81.5 million contract yesterday. Los Angeles will also be relying on Kawhi Leonard. That is always a dicey proposition. His health is one of the biggest question marks in the NBA. LA should be a competitive team, but their key players staying on the floor will be a bigger issue than for most teams.
Final Thoughts
Even though Lopez is not the player he once was, he can still be a contributor to a team with championship aspirations. The Los Angeles Clippers are counting on him being able to do so. He will look to have a solid final act in a city he has played in previously. Lopez played for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017-18 season.
