Kansas City Royals Starting Pitcher Noah Cameron With Great 5 Career Starts
Kansas City Royals Starting Pitcher Noah Cameron has continued taking the league by storm. He had another great start this afternoon against the St. Louis Cardinals. He tossed six scoreless innings. Cameron’s performance did not lead to a win. KC’s bullpen coughed up the lead Cameron spotted them.
Cameron’s career has gotten off to a great start. He has allowed one earned run or fewer in each of his first five career starts. Fernando Valenzuela is the only player to accomplish this feat more times. He did it in seven consecutive starts to begin his career. Cameron is 2-1 this year with a 0.85 ERA. Will he continue his great run of starts with the Kansas City Royals?

It has been a mediocre start to the season for the Royals. They are in fourth place in the American League Central at 32-29. Kansas City’s offense has been weak. They are 13th in batting average, 30th in home runs, and 28th in runs scored. Third Baseman Maikel Garcia is 13th in the league in batting average.
Even though the bullpen struggled today, the team’s pitching staff has been tremendous. They are fourth in ERA, seventh in WHIP, and 11th in opposing batting average. Cameron is not the only Royals pitcher that has been good in 2025. Starting Pitcher Kris Bubic has been strong. He is leading the league in ERA and 10th in opposing batting average. Closer Carlos Estevez is second in the league in saves.
Final Thoughts
Cameron’s next scheduled start is on June 11 at home against the New York Yankees. Facing a stout New York lineup will be the stiffest test of Cameron’s young career. He will look to keep stringing together great starts.
