Settle Mariners Catcher Cal Raleigh Set For 2025 Home Run Derby
The newest player has put his name into the ring to be crowned the winner of the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. Seattle Mariners Catcher Cal Raleigh, coming off a first half for the ages, will participate in this event. It will take place on July 14 at Truist Park(the home of the Atlanta Braves.)
Raleigh is leading the league in home runs(32), is first in RBI, second in OPS, second in Slugging Percentage, and third in total bases. Raleigh is on pace to shatter the MLB record set by Salvador Perez for the most home runs hit by a primary catcher(41) set in 2021. Will Raleigh win the 2025 Home Run Derby?

Raleigh is not the only big-name participating in the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. He will be joined in the field by Atlanta Braves Right Fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. He will look to win the contest behind the support of his hometown fans. With more than two weeks until the derby, more players will announce their participation in this prestigious event.Â
