India’s cricket board, the BCCI, has released new dates for the tour of Sri Lanka next year, 2024. As per the new schedule that has emerged regarding the alteration of the fixtures, all three T-20 Internationals (T20Is) and the first One Day International (ODI) have been moved by a day.
The tour will start with the T20I leg, all of which are set to be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The first T20I will now be held on the 27th of July, a day later than the initial schedule. The rest of the T20I cricket games are scheduled for the 28th and the 30th of July, with both games also falling a day behind their initially planned dates.

Following the end of the T20I games, Sri Lanka and India will also step into the fifty-over format, the One Day Internationals, which are expected to be hosted at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Initially, the first ODI match was also planned for an earlier date, but it was later moved to August 2. This rescheduling will, of course, give both sides some extra time for preparation and recovery after the T20I series.
It seemed that the cricket authorities had changed the scheduled date of the first match and remained fixed with the two other ODIs. The audience has something to look forward to as the second ODI is scheduled for August 4, and the final ODI of the series will be held on August 7.
