Herbert was acquired by the Bengals midway through the season. The veteran running back had 36 carries, 130 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown. Indianapolis Colts Offseason Outlook
The Colts are looking to rebound from a disappointing regular season. They missed the NFL Playoffs due to the play of second-year Quarterback Anthony Richardson. He has struggled to complete passes at a competent level in his NFL career. Indianapolis signed veteran Quarterback Daniel Jones earlier this week. He will create a quarterback competition with Richardson in 2025. Indianapolis also signed Safety Charvarius Ward this offseason.
Herbert joins a Colts running back room that includes Jonathan Taylor. Herbert will back up the star back in 2025. Indy’s offense also includes star Wide Receiver Michael Pittman Jr. The Colts will use the offseason program and preseason to determine their starting QB.
