NXT Chaos Night: Sean Legacy Returns, Lizzy Rain Stuns In Debut & Kelani Jordan Outsmarts Injury Setback
WWE NXT’s new episode was a night full of tense and heated fights, filled with surprises, and amazing performances. Sean Legacy returned unexpectedly to help EK Prosper beat BirthRight, Lizzy Rain debuted with a commanding victory, and Kelani Jordan capitalized on an injury to win a tough match. The episode featured the usual NXT mix of promoting emerging talent while also laying the groundwork for some existing feuds.
Returning Sean Legacy Helps EK Prosper Beat BirthRight
The main event featured a tag team match between EK Prosper and Sean Legacy as they took on BirthRight members Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Uriah Connors. EK Prosper was originally set to team with Dorian Van Dux, but the plans changed after BirthRight attacked Van Dux before the match. This allowed the unexpected reemergence of Sean Legacy, who received a standing ovation.
Legacy immediately went after Stacks, injecting excitement into the match. But in the middle of the match, BirthRight took back control by trapping Legacy in the corner. The turning point occurred when Legacy escaped with a suplex and reached Prosper for the hot tag. Prosper entered with speed and aggression, landing a series of dropkicks before hitting a double springboard Asai Moonsault onto both opponents.
The finish came after a frantic closing sequence. Legacy returned to the ring and connected with his twisting fireman’s carry neckbreaker on Stacks to secure the pinfall victory.
Tate Wilder Makes Surprise Debut
The celebration did not last long. BirthRight members Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, and Arianna Grace rushed the ring and attacked the winning team after the match. That led to another surprise when Tate Wilder, formerly known from WWE Evolve, made his NXT debut. Wilder cleared the ring with a missile dropkick and followed it up with a Shooting Star Press from the apron, immediately making an impact.
Lizzy Rain Impresses In Televised Debut
Elsewhere on the card, Lizzy Rain made a memorable first appearance on NXT television by defeating veteran Nikkita Lyons in just over four minutes. Billed as the “Maiden of Metal,” Rain received a strong reaction from the Orlando crowd during her entrance, which reflected her heavy metal identity and presence. Lyons used her experience to take control early with a spinning heel kick and grounded offense, hoping to stop the newcomer before she could build momentum.
Rain stepped up and ultimately defended her position with corner chops, while the audience chanted. She then dodged a Vader Bomb before bursting forward with an uppercut. Rain then ended the match with the well-timed Thunderstruck to win a dramatic match.
Kelani Jordan Cracks Hurt But Spunky Opponent
Kelani Jordan also notched a significant singles victory after her opponent appeared to hurt her left knee early in the match while attempting a shotgun dropkick from the apron. Jordan immediately read the opportunity and went on to attack her opponent’s vulnerable leg, performing a chop block and shinbreaker.
Her opponent bravely continued to fight on despite the injury, nearly staging a comeback with a number of attempts. Eventually, the injured leg failed her. The opportunity was instantly seized with an Olympic Slam, followed by Jordan’s One of a Kind signature move.
