WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Results: Bayley vs. Sol Ruca
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event showed the present and the future of the women’s division as Sol Ruca faced off against Bayley. The match was back-and-forth and allowed the WWE Universe to understand exactly what things could look like in the not-so-distant future. Let’s take a deeper dive into the match and discuss what exactly happened.
Sol Ruca Defeats Bayley at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

In an exciting clash of styles, NXT’s Sol Ruca was able to secure the win over Bayley at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Each woman would have a manager ringside as Zaria would accompany the NXT star, while WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria would be ringside for the veteran. The match was able to highlight Ruca’s athleticism, while Bayley was able to showcase why she is a future WWE Hall of Famer in her own right.
The match ended as Ruca was able to hit her finishing move, the Sol Snatcher, but Bayley was able to roll to the ropes. Ruca would drag her away from the ropes, and Bayley would go for a roll-up pin, but only get a two count. Ruca would reverse into a pin of her own and get the victory.
The match was a fun showcase for what WWE can look like in the next few years, but this is another loss for Bayley. This match certainly was more of a fan favorite match than the Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi opening match of the card, but this still left more to be explored at a future time.
This was a fun match overall and a good example of what the WWE women’s division could wind up looking like soon.
