John Cena Discusses Vince McMahon on The Joe Rogan Experince
John Cena has been the flagbearer for WWE for a long time and is getting set to retire next week from in-ring competition. One of the more interesting aspects is that he is still friendly with former owner Vince McMahon. While their friendship has been examined with the alleged issues facing McMahon, Cena discussed it a bit.
Let’s take a closer look at Cena’s comments about the former Chairman of the Board at WWE.
John Cena Discusses Vince McMahon

While appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, John Cena would open up about Vince McMahon and accountability.
“I know, now, he’s out. In my eyes, I’d like to think that time heals everything and I believe in forgiveness. I also believe in looking at the body of work. I also know there is a lot of fragile stuff going on there. I’ve learned to become a little more accountable for what I say, and just because I feel a certain way about a person doesn’t excuse them from being accountable for their actions.
“Just because he did start ‘all this gangster sh*t,’ doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to be accountable for his actions. Let’s figure out what that means, and then figure out if we can move forward and bring it back in the fold or if it stays the way it is.”
McMahon would sell World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to Endeavor, headed by Ari Emanuel before merging with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to create TKO. McMahon has been alleged to be involved in a sex trafficking scandal from former WWE employee Janel Grant.
John Cena has been friends with McMahon throughout the years and it has been rumored that he could be in attendance for Cena’s final match on Dec. 13. It will be interesting to see if that happens in eight days at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, DC.
