WWE main roster PPVs have been enjoyable, but many forget about the NXT PPVs, as they have been great, too. Then again, WWE has been a little strange with how they have done the live versions of this show, but it’s still a great product. Their next NXT-branded PPV is titled NXT Heatwave, and there are still many fans who have questions about the show.

  • Jaida Parker vs Kelani Jordan vs Lola Vice for the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship

The Match Most Fans Are Looking Forward To

There are plenty of matches that many are looking forward to, not-named Jordynne Grace vs Blake Monroe. That feud has been absolutely horrible and filled with terrible promos. What the heck did WWE do with Blake Monroe? She never cut these awful promos during her time in AEW as Mariah May.

Out of the bunch, though, it has to be Oba Femi vs Je’Von Evans. It is a classic Goliath vs David type of match. Plus, Oba Femi has been dominant, and with how young Je’Von Evans is, this should be a fun match. Evans can also take the most brutal bumps like he did on the last episode of NXT when in a match with Trick Williams. Imagine the crazy bumps Evans will take in a match with a powerhouse like Oba Femi.

How To Watch NXT Heatwave

NXT Heatwave will take place on August 24, 2025, and it will start at 7 pm EST. Why does that date sound familiar? Well, it is the same day that AEW’s Forbidden Door show is going on, which is quite the coincidence.

With the confusion of the new ESPN and WWE stream partnership, it is a little messy when trying to figure out how to watch this PPV. Well, for this show in the United States, it will be available via Peacock, and if you are not in the United States, the show can be watched on Netflix.

Final Thoughts

While many will not watch it live as the AEW Forbidden Door show is the much bigger one, the NXT Heatwave PPV should be enjoyable, too. No matter what occurs, as long as the product is great and the crowd is energetic, WWE should have a respectable show for its developmental brand.
