Dominik Mysterio Shown with AEW Championship in AAA Video Package
Dominik Mysterio is one of the top stars in wrestling today at such a young age. He has been a champion in multiple promotions and has been able to do so much as he continues to get more experience. While on a major show, he was seen as AEW Champion, the only issue is that Mysterio never wrestled for All Elite Wrestling. Let’s take a closer look at what happened and why it happened.
Dominik Mysterio Shown as AEW Champion in AAA Video Package

During the debut episode of AAA on Fox, Dominik Mysterio would appear via a video package where he would claim the promotion is at the top thanks to him. In a cartoon-style video, some eagle-eyed fans have noticed Mysterio is shown wearing the AEW Championship in an AI-generated video.
The promo is still on AAA’s social media page, which you could see here. Mysterio has not wrestled for AAA since AAA Guerra De Titanes 2025 due to a shoulder injury. Despite the injury, Mysterio is still the AAA Mega Champion since winning it against El Hijo del Vikingo at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Las Vegas. However, Liv Morgan provided an update on his status, confirming that he will be returning soon.
This is certainly a mistake that is going to be noticed, and with it being the debut on Fox for AAA, it is interesting to see if they address the situation at all or change the video package to delete the frames including Dominik Mysterio with the AEW Championship. The show was streamed live on YouTube in the United States, while the Fox contract covers Mexico and a majority of South America. It will continue to be live every Saturday, so it will be intriguing to see when he returns.
