CM Punk Doesn’t Hold Back About Feelings Toward Drew McIntyre
Before the face-off started we were able to see CM Punk entering the building, the camera also captured Drew McIntyre entering the Ford Center. The rivalry between these great champions is one of the most famous and successful rivalries of WWE in 2024. WWE Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was in the ring accompanied by the security guards.
He announced that Drew McIntyre would fight against CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell match in ‘Bad Blood’ and after that, he talked a little bit about the rivalry of the fierce fighters. He then went on and called both the superstars inside the ring. The security guards were already on the ground as this was just a faceoff and not a fight.
Arrival Of CM Punk and Drew McIntyre
We see the ‘Voice of Voiceless‘ making his way to the ring. When he reaches the ring he looks at the Hell in a Cell cage and it looks like he is thinking about something while watching the cage. CM Punk places his hand on the hard, cold face of steel and enters the cell. He even ascends half the wall for a while before descending the wall. When he gets into the ring Punk acts more like a pro wrestler and he extends his hand to greet Adam Pearce.
Next, we see the cold face of Drew McIntyre coming toward the steel cage. McIntyre goes to the ring and, frowning, steps into the Hell in a Cell structure. The security guards are now alert and as he enters the ring, CM Punk gives him a serious stare in the eyes while the security guards are firmly standing between them.
Trash Talking Between Rivals
We see McIntyre dressed up differently this time, as he was in a black suit. Drew McIntyre explains the reason behind him wearing a black suit to the audience and his rival. That’s not showing respect to Punk though as we know that these two will never respect each other but the reason was quite the opposite.
The black is for CM Punk’s wife as after Saturday she will be the one dressed in today’s outfit. Drew McIntyre showed the intensity of his anger by saying that the wife of CM Punk will take care of Punk, she will be dressing him, feeding, and bathing him too. McIntyre also talked about the possibility of her leaving him. He says his clothes are like a tuxedo, all set for a party once Punk is out of the match.
McIntyre begins to walk away from the ring but stops when he sees Punk get a hold of the mic. CM Punk said that people have called him many names throughout his career. There are three titles specially for him and they are “The Best in the World,” “The Second City Saint,” and “Voice of the Voiceless.” But tonight, he has no words. You would expect him to speak his mind when it comes to someone they are rivals like McIntyre, but he has nothing to say.
Final Thoughts
This whole scenario has built up anger inside Punk. As we know Drew McIntyre has been disrespecting his wife and his family to the point where he broke the bracelet to which Punk was emotionally attached. As a result, CM Punk now claims that he has been out of his house for weeks and he is now living in a hotel in regret until he takes revenge from McIntyre. Punk said this about McIntyre. “People enjoy a good rivalry. I think Drew is a piece of s–t. Asking me what I think of him is kind of a loaded question.”
