Braun Strowman Hints at Possible In-Ring Return in Summer 2026
Former WWE star Braun Strowman has sparked speculation about a potential return to the ring in summer 2026, nearly a year after his release from the company. While nothing has been confirmed. Braun’s recent remarks indicate that the comeback is still a possibility.
Social Media Tease Fuels Speculation
Adam Scherr, also known as Braun Strowman, recently posted a throwback photo on social media of himself hitting Brock Lesnar during their previous WWE fights. The post also referenced the recent viral moment between Oba Femi and Lesnar on Raw, which reignited fan interest and brought renewed attention to Strowman’s standing among the audience.
The post went viral, with most members of the populace reading through it as a subtle sign of a possible reversion to professional wrestling.
Braun Strowman Responds to Oba Femi Hype
Braun Strowman, now competing under his real name, Adam Scherr, recently downplayed the growing buzz around rising WWE star Oba Femi following Femi’s standout appearance on Monday Night Raw. The response came after Femi shared the ring with Brock Lesnar, an incident that rapidly spread among fans.
In a reply to a fan on a social media platform who mentioned that he could be used to propel Femi, Strowman rebuffed the idea with confidence. He pointed out that he would beat Femi even faster than when he beat Goldberg at the wrestlemania 36, which took only a couple of minutes.
Strowman also addressed comparisons between himself and Femi by sharing a throwback image of his dominant moment against Brock Lesnar. By doing this, he highlighted the idea that he believes that he is unique and unparalleled, and no other person can be like him or have the same impact on the ring.
His remarks present a very transparent message, despite the emergence of new talents. Strowman still considers himself one of the most dominant players in professional wrestling.
Summer Return a Possibility
In an interview with a podcaster, Mike Gilbert, Braun Strowman answered some questions regarding his future in the ring. According to him, the recovery may occur within the next few months, but there is still no strict time frame.
He stated that he could come back during the summer, but added that he is in the process of shooting the 2nd season of Everything on the Menu and other shows. He then said that he would eventually know when he would be ready to get back into the ring based on his schedule.
Life After WWE
Braun Strowman has not wrestled since his WWE release in May 2025. He competed in his last match on April 18, 2025, as a member of LA Knight in a tag team match with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
However, since then, he turned his attention to entertainment and business. In January 2026, his food-related reality show, Everything on the Menu, was renewed for a second season and is also being produced with WWE, which enables him to keep his popular ring name.
Moreover, Strowman has recently established a production company in partnership with someone, Meat Castle Media. Although it is not directly related to wrestling.
Medical Controversies and Make-or-Buy
For quite a while, Strowman has been facing some difficulties getting back in the ring. In early 2011, he had an emergency operation when the infection led to the accumulation of fluid in his knee. The blow has made his recovery difficult and unpredictable his eventual recovery. Even though a summer recovery is not impossible, it seems rather an aspiration than a set strategy.
Though a retirement date has not been officially announced, Braun Strowman has been talking, and his recent actions indicate he has not ruled out a return to wrestling. Provided that his recovery is successful and that his timetable permits it, then fans would not have to wait long to see him in action once again.
