Among the innumerable qualities that make Virat Kohli the formidable man he is, Sridhar focused on how crucial it is to avoid taking him on. In the 2024 Indian Premier League, Kohli was criticized for having a poor strike rate, and the great Sunil Gavaskar expressed doubts about his strategy. With five fifty-score runs and a century, he finished the season with over 741 runs scored. It’s not as though Kohli needs to be questioned.
Also, the former Indian fielding coach emphasized Virat Kohli’s ability to perform well under pressure, particularly when he faces criticism or mocked by others. Sridhar went on to say that Kohli excels in such circumstances that opponents avoid irritating him. He stated that opposing teams frequently choose to let Kohli play his game rather than interact with him, knowing that any confrontation may result in the right-hander dominating the match so thoroughly that they would struggle to recover.
