Northern Kentucky Falls To Ohio State 94-62
In the first quarter, Northern Kentucky opened scoring with the game’s first four points before T’yana Todd hit a three-pointer. Northern Kentucky, however, built a 19-7 lead in the first six minutes of the first quarter. The Lady Buckeyes scored eight unanswered points in less than one minute to cut their deficit to 19-15 with 2:30 remaining in the quarter. Ohio State trailed by just two points, 22-20, after one quarter as the Buckeye defense allowed only three points in the final four minutes.
In the second quarter, both defenses started strong as the quarter’s points were 5-4 in the Buckeyes’ favor after four minutes of play. A pair of Jaloni Cambridge free throws gave the Lady Buckeyes their first lead of the game, 27-26, with 5:11 to play in the half. Northern Kentucky used a 7-0 run to take a 38-34 lead with 1:18 remaining in the frame and led 43-38 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Northern Kentucky Norse converted a pair of free throws to open the second half before Ohio State scored 16 consecutive points over the next three minutes to take a 54-45 lead with 6:36 to play in the quarter. Ohio State then scored 10 unanswered points on its way to a 68-52 lead after three quarters of play.
In the fourth quarter, Ohio State scored the first four points of the final quarter and used a 16-0 run, capped by a three-pointer from Ella Hobbs, to extend its lead to 90-57 with three minutes to play. Bryn Martin scored the Buckeyes’ final basket in a 94-62 win. Ohio State finished with twenty-seven steals, a program record.

- Jaloni Cambridge was the first to reach double figures, doing so on the Buckeyes’ opening possession of the second quarter on her way to tying her career-high 33 points. Ava Watson (13) and Kylee Kitts (11) joined Cambridge in double figures.
- On the defensive side of the ball, Kennedy Cambridge recorded a career-high 10 steals against Northern Kentucky to tie for the third most by a player in a single game in program history. Watson also tied her career-high with 7 steals.
