Bully Ray, one of the famous and most well-known WWE Hall of Famer came back to WWE. He made his comeback at WrestleMania 40. There was a match between ‘The Pride’ and ‘The Final Testament’ and Ray was out there as the Special Guest referee. Not many people knew about the return of Hall of Famer Bully Ray. It was not a focus of the media unlike other famous wrestlers and it was not even an idea. But Ray himself said that just 48 hours before the event started, his comeback was scheduled.

Bully Ray was asked about his special appearance in the wrestle mania 40 earlier this year as a special guest referee in an interview on the ‘Notsam Wrestling’ podcast. Bully said to them that he was the referee of the Philadelphia Street Fight between ‘The Pride’ and ‘The Final Testament’ on the second night of WrestleMania XL. Bully Ray discussed different things with Triple H. And he wants everyone to know that things happen quickly in the fighting business, especially in WWE.
“Me and Triple H had a brief texting conversation. ‘Here’s the idea. Love it. Done.’ And it happened 48 hours before WrestleMania. I talk about on Busted Open so often about how in the wrestling business it can happen that quickly, and that happened that quickly.”

He saved the text that happened between him and Triple H. He was informed on Thursday and that was the day when things became interesting. Ray said, “It was brief — I still have the text, I saved it, it was so brief. It happened on Thursday evening at like 10. That was it; that’s how quickly it happened. There’s no like big story, it’s not, ‘Oh, we cultivated this idea and we came up with this a year ago, and then we did this and put it into motion… Idea. Love it. Done.”
The example is in front of them, that he was assigned just a few hours ago. Despite losing all the WrestleMania matches, he’s now again in WrestleMania. He made it to 5 matches in WrestleMania and he lost all of them but the only time that he was victorious was when he stood beside the ‘The Pride’ and raised his hand.
