Mohamed Elneny, who has been an Arsenal player for eight years, is about to leave the team as Free-Agent. Currently, he is the longest-serving player in Arsenal. However, he has not always been the first choice for the first 11. He also spent one year in Besiktas on a loan transfer. Still, he will be counted as one of the mark leavers in Arsenal. For most of the fans, this event might be heartbreaking.

He started his soccer career in Al-Ehli youth team in 1997. In 2008, he was transferred from Al-Ehli youth team to Al Mokawloon team’s youth team. Then in 2012, he was transferred to FC Basel, and he spent three and a half years there.  After this Switzerland journey, Elneny was transferred to Arsenal. With Arsenal FC, he played 161 games, he has scored six goals and 10 assists.

As it is known, Mohamed Elneny has played in several clubs from several countries. It is very unpredictable for anyone to guess where would he go.  In the Turkish Super League, a few clubs have an interest in Elneny. Taking into consideration that he already played in Besiktas for a year on loan, he can make a transfer to Turkey again.

Besiktas’ Interest

Besiktas is having a terrible season. They had changed coaches 5 times this season and gave up on the league pretty early. Now they are in the Cup Final. They want to strengthen their squad for the next year. The new president has said that they will not hesitate to spend money on transfers. 
Their former on-loan player Mohamed Elneny is one of the favourites for the transfer season.

Trabzonspor’s Interest

Trabzonspor started transfer studies for the new season. The claret-blue team is planning to reinforce the midfield after the departure of Bakasetas and Abdülkadir Ömür.
Trabzonspor’s coach Abdullah Avci, has worked with Mohamed Elneny when they were both in Besiktas. So, Avci wants the seasoned midfielder in his team for the next season. 

Interest from the Saudi Pro League

Transfer rumors from last week mention that Mohamed Elneny had received concrete interest from his former club Besiktas and league rivals Trabzonspor, as well as other clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The names of these two Saudi clubs stand out as Al-Fateh and Al-Shabab, but both clubs will likely wait until Elneny becomes available as a free agent.

Prediction

Elneny is probably closer to the Turkish Super League. Taking into consideration that, he already played there for a season, he would be more comfortable to make his decision. However, if he wants to make an astronomical amount of money, He will consider the offers from the Saudi Pro League.
