Florida Panthers Rout Tampa Bay Lightning On Monday Night
The Florida Panthers are starting to look like themselves lately. They have won five out of their last six games. They came into Tampa and took care of business in the battle of Florida, beating the Lightning 5-2.
Florida Panthers Have a Successful Road Trip
The Florida Panthers went on a four-game road trip and found points in all three games except for a game against the Colorado Avalanche. The Panthers wrapped up their road trip against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night, gathering two points before heading home for the Christmas break.
The Panthers had goals from Anton Lundell, Carter Verhaeghe, Brad Marchand, and a pair of goals from Sam Reinhart. Sergei Bobrovsky had 26 saves on the night and looked like brick wall Bob in goal. The Lightning only managed to get two goals from him; besides that, the door was shut.
The Florida Panthers will start another mini home stand before the Christmas break against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night and have another set of back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday night. Getting points in these games will be crucial for the former Stanley Cup Champions to claw back into the standings.
Ahead For the Panthers
The Panthers are hoping to see star Forward Matthew Tkachuk return to the lineup before Christmas, but time will tell if he is ready or if he will make his season debut in 2026. As of now, the Panthers will focus on the next game against the Kings and hopefully start this homestand better than the previous one and find some wins.
