Mercedes Mone Loses One of 13 Championships at ROH Final Battle
Mercedes Mone has been collecting championship belts like people collect trading cards over the past year. She held 13 titles going into her match at Ring of Honor: Final Battle 2025, as she had her Ring of Honor Women’s Television Championship on the line against Red Velvet. Let’s take a closer look at her match and what this means for the CEO.
Mercedes Mone Loses ROH Women’s Television Championship

Mercedes Mone has been the Ring of Honor Women’s Television Champion since winning the unification match on the Nov. 19 episode of AEW Collision. She would win the interim title against Mina Shirakawa during the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view in an improptu match while the champion, Red Velvet, was injured.
This match was a fun match overall on Friday night, but could be the beginning of the downfall for the belt collector character as this is the second championship Mercedes Mone has lost after also losing the AEW Women’s Championship at Full Gear 2025 against Kris Statlander.
One of the complaints about Mercedes Mone winning all these championships was the belief that she would not go back and lose the championships she has collected over the span of this character. However, it appears this could be the case as she has already lost a pair of championships in this reign.
It is going to be intriguing to see if Mone is going to descent into madness in trying to keep her championships or if she will go on a massive losing streak to drop each championship belt. Mone has been one of the biggest draws in AEW and she can continue to be a top star while losing the independent promotion’s titles as well.
