WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi Underwent 6-Hour Emergency Surgery

On the most recent edition of the Rikishi Fatu – Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed he had to undergo an undisclosed emergency surgery recently and that he is feeling a lot better as a result.
“It was an emergency type of surgery, and I’m going to leave it at that. It took about six hours to be able to be under the knife. I woke up feeling great… I feel like a new person. It was just one of those things that was caught just in time and with the grace of God and the surgeons that were there that day, I’m here today to be able to sit and talk with you… I woke up feeling a different way when I got wheeled back to the room into the hospital, meaning just grateful.”
A few weeks ago, Rikishi needed to cancel his GLCW appearance due to a health emergency, which gave people a bit of a scare for his health. However, it appears that after his lengthy surgery that his health is in a better place.
Rikishi is the father of The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) and is part of the legendary Anoa’i family. It will be interesting to see if and when the WWE Hall of Famer decides to get back on the convention scene or even make an appearance on television.
