WWE Wrestlemania 43 Reportedly Heading to Saudi Arabia
WWE’s biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania, may be going overseas for the first time in history. This show has been one of the mainstays for the company as an annual event to culminate stories and create unforgettable moments. However, things could get interesting as one Saudi Arabian adviser announced the show would be heading to the country. Let’s take a closer look at what we know about this situation.
WWE Wrestlemania 43 Heading to Saudi Arabia?

WWE has been involved with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since agreeing to a 10-year partnership back in March 2018. However, Saudi Arabian adviser Turki Alalshikh announced that the 2027 event will be heading overseas to Saudi Arabia.
“Wrestlemania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, Wrestlemania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.”
As of this writing, WWE has not announced a location for the event. However, Alalshikj did mention in May 2024 that they were planning on bringing both the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania to Saudi Arabia at some point. The Royal Rumble will be taking place in Saudi Arabia in 2026, but this would be the first time that Wrestlemania would be happening outside of North America. The only time the event was held outside of the United States was back in 2002 when it was held at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
There were some rumblings about this last month, and WWE reportedly has discussed expanding to having multiple Wrestlemania events throughout the calendar year. It will be interesting to see what the official announcement would be, if this were to become confirmed, as the Saudi Arabian shows have went from more spectacles to actual newsworthy events. However, the event is always subject to be moved as WWE previously announced New Orleans, Louisiana would host the 2026 event before it was announced the show would return to Las Vegas, Nevada.
We will provide an update if WWE announces anything regarding hosting Wrestlemania or if they reach out in an official capacity regarding this story.
