Seattle Mariners Making Home Run History During 2025 Season
The Seattle Mariners have made history this season. They became the first team in league history to have five players each hit their 100th career home run in the same season. Cal Raleigh did so on April 16, Mitch Garver accomplished it on June 20, Randy Arozarena made history on June 30, Julio Rodriguez did it on August 3, and Josh Naylor accomplished it last night. Can the offense of the Seattle Mariners keep it going down the homestretch of the regular season?
Seattle Mariners Season Summary
It has been a strong season for the Mariners. They are two games behind the Houston Astros for the AL West lead and occupy the third American League wild card spot. Seattle has been led by its offense in 2025. They are 21st in the league in batting average, third in home runs, and 12th in runs scored. Raleigh is putting together an MVP-caliber season. He is leading the league in home runs, second in RBI, and fourth in OPS. Seattle’s pitching staff has also been stellar.Â
Final Thoughts
Seattle returns to the diamond tonight for the middle game of a three-game set against the Athletics. If the offense of the Seattle Mariners can keep playing at such a high level, no team will want to play them come October. Â
