Adriana Rizzo’s Revealing Explanation On Recent Injury
In NXT, Adriana Rizzo is one of the more intriguing prospects on the brand. The 26-year-old is such an intriguing part of the show when on screen. She is one of the favorite parts of the D’Angelo Family faction among fans around the world. However, her durability has been a big problem with her. Well, yet again she suffered an injury, and it is a major one.
Adriana Rizzo’s Injury Bad Luck
Injuries suck when they happen, especially constantly. Rizzo has been injured multiple times in the past few years. In 2023, Rizzo suffered a Torn Achilles. That injury alone sucks, but it gets worse. Not four months later, she suffered a partially torn ACL and dealt with that for a year and a half. That’s two major injuries, and now that number has risen to three. According to Adriana Rizzo, she suffered a setback in her recovery, including a Torn ACL and meniscus.
How Did It Happen?
Many fans were speculating about how this injury happened, and at times, it got truly ridiculous. This got Adriana Rizzo to put out a video statement. While recording in character, she was in full-blown character and told her story. The most revealing part was that she was already injured and overdid it in training. Thus, a partially torn ACL then became fully torn, and it blew. What also blows is that the WWE Performance Center has a problem with trainees and wrestlers tearing their ACLs. That is a problem that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
Final Thoughts
No matter what, it is just a terrible thing to happen to anybody, and Rizzo’s injury will likely keep her out of the ring until 2026. Hopefully, she can heal up quickly, and whenever she is ready, she can impress in the ring. It is important to note that her injuries have not made her dependable, and if she can’t stay healthy, it would not be surprising if she leaves the company like Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai did, due to their injuries.
