Seattle Mariners Starting Pitcher Bryan Woo Stifles the New York Yankees
Seattle Mariners Starting Pitcher Bryan Woo had a great start this evening on the road against the New York Yankees. He tossed 7 no-hit innings. He ran into some trouble in the bottom of the 8th, but it was still a start to remember.
He surrendered two earned runs over 7.1 innings of work and punched out 5. Woo has been great in 2025. It led to the first All-Star Game nod of his young career. He is 13th in the league in ERA, sixth in WHIP, and 11th in opposing batting average. Will Seattle’s ace keep pitching at such a high level?

Woo debuted with the Seattle Mariners in 2023. While he had a strong rookie campaign, he came into his own last season. If he had enough starts to qualify, he would have finished fifth in the league in ERA last season. He has raised his level this year.
Final Thoughts
Woo will look to pitch well in next week’s MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia. He is not a household name. He will look to showcase his skillset to a national audience and look to keep pitching well in the second half of the 2025 regular season. If so, the Seattle Mariners will be a team no one will want to face later this summer.
