Philadelphia Phillies Powered By Offense In 13-0 Drubbing Of Atlanta Braves
The Philadelphia Phillies had an offensive display for the ages last night on the road against the Atlanta Braves. They hit five home runs as they dominated the Braves 13-0. It was the most runs the Phillies scored in a game since they scored 16 runs against the Miami Marlins on September 6, 2024.
Shortstop Trea Turner had two home runs. Designated Hitter Kyle Schwarber, Right Fielder Nick Castellanos, and First Baseman Otto Kemp each had a home run apiece. It was a great all-around performance from the Philadelphia offense. Will the Philadelphia Phillies carry this momentum into their upcoming games?

The struggles of the New York Mets in recent weeks have the Phillies holding a slim lead in the National League East. As was on display last night, Philadelphia’s offense is one of the league’s best. They are fourth in the league in batting average, 15th in home runs, and ninth in runs scored. Schwarber has been the team’s best offensive player. He is fourth in the league in home runs, 11th in RBI, and eighth in OPS.
Philadelphia’s pitching staff has been middling in 2025. They are 10th in ERA, 17th in opposing batting average, and 16th in WHIP. Starting Pitcher Zack Wheeler is top 10 in the league in ERA, strikeouts, and WHIP. He has led a unit that has performed below expectations.
Final Thoughts
The Philadelphia Phillies return to the diamond tonight for the middle game of their three-game set against the Atlanta Braves. If the Phillies can continue swinging the bat this well, they will be in the NL East race throughout the summer.
