Aaron Gordon Comes Up Clutch Again In 2025 NBA Playoffs; Hits 2nd Game-Winning Shot Of Playoffs

Is Aaron Gordon the real MVP behind Nikola Jokic’s success? Imagine being the one who wins Game 1 of a series where each team has one of the two leading MVP candidates through the entire season in a battle head-to-head in the NBA Playoffs. That’s what Gordon is doing. 

Aaron Gordon: Game-Winner Against The Oklahoma City Thunder

Aaron Gordon’s game-winning shot last night was a total drama, pincture-this, for the Nuggets all the game was a constant battle to catch the Thunder, in the last 9.5 seconds on the clock, Chet Holmgren with a regular season FT average of 75.4% was at the free-throw line, in the score board you can see OKC 119, DEN 118. Even with the home court support, Holmgren misses the two shots, giving life to Denver, who almost lost the defensive rebound.

Cristian Brown take the ball and with nearly 7 seconds in the clock pass the ball to Russell Westbrook who quickly makes a cut to the middle making the defense think he is going to attack the paint, but instead he passes the ball to a wide open Aaron Gordon who thakes the three pointer whithin four seconds on the clock. The shot went in, giving the advantage to the Denver Nuggets 121 to Oklahoma City Thunder 119 with 2.8 seconds on the clock.

Game-Winner Against the Los Angeles Clippers

Last night wasn’t the only game-winner from the former Magic forward. The other of the Aaron Gordon buzzer-beaters was the fourth game of the series against the Clippers.

Even Kawhi Leonard who was garding Murray try to put a double team presure but cannot do anything against the heigth of Jokic shot. The ball traces a rainbow towards the hoop, but the shot goes a bit long… but that’s when another Aaron Gordon clutch moment appears to save the team and makes a game-winning dunk.

The play was reviewed by the refferies to see if the play was in time, Gordon has the ball in his hands at 0.1 seconds in the clock, but when it goes down to 0, the ball is touching only the net.
