Buffalo Bills-Wide Receiver Elijah Moore Agree To 1-Year Deal
The Buffalo Bills signed veteran Wide Receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year contract worth $5 million Wednesday evening. He met earlier this week with the franchise and will play for the team in 2025. Moore is coming off a stellar season with the Cleveland Browns. He had a career-high 61 receptions, 538 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown. How will Moore fit with a Buffalo Bills team looking to break through in the AFC?
Moore’s Fit With the Buffalo Bills
Moore will give Quarterback Josh Allen another weapon on offense. Allen won the NFL MVP because of how he performed with skill position players not considered to be the best. General Manager Brandon Beane took offense to the categorization the Bills should have focused more on a wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft. It seems he may have listened to the criticism. Just a few days after his rant, he signed Moore.
Moore will join a receiver room that includes Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, and Keon Coleman. It is unclear what role Moore with have with the Buffalo Bills in 2025, but this is a shrewd move by the organization.Â
Final Thoughts
Moore is another example of a team that is building one one of the league’s best rosters. The issue for the team in recent years has been the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo has been sent home by the Chiefs in four of the last five postseasons.Â
