Dallas Cowboys Draft Defensive End Donovan Ezeiruaku No. 44 Overall
The Dallas Cowboys selected Defensive End Donovan Ezeiruaku with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ezeiruaku had a great final season with Boston College. He was second in the nation in sacks and was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Will Ezeiruaku be a good fit with the Dallas Cowboys?
Dallas Cowboys Draft Donovan Ezeiruaku No. 44 overall
Ezeiruaku is a great pick for the Dallas Cowboys. He will join a defensive line that includes star Micah Parsons. He and Ezeiruaku will create one of the most ferocious pass-rushing duos in the league. The team’s defense fared well when Parsons suited up. When he was sidelined, the defense struggled.
The Cowboys have been led by their defense in recent years. The unit will look to rebound in 2025. Ezeiruaku will be a big part of helping that side of the ball get back on track. Owner/General Manager Jerry Jones is much-maligned, but this is a great pick. The team got a great player at a tremendous value.
Final Thoughts
Ezeiruaku should be a contributor to “America’s Team” for years to come. One of the few knocks about him in the pre-draft process was his inability to stop the run. That is something he will have to work on in the National Football League.
