WWE Signs Rusev & Lana to New Contracts Ahead of RAW After Wrestlemania 41
After years away from WWE, the tandem of Rusev & Lana have reportedly signed contracts to return to the company. They last were seen together at “AEW Worlds End 2023” when Rusev (wrestling under the name Miro) defeated Andrade El Idolo, but the two were an incredible act on WWE television for more than a decade prior to joining All Elite Wrestling. Let’s take a deeper dive into everything that is known about the contracts for both superstars.
Rusev & Lana Sign with WWE

Deadline is reporting that Miroslav Barnyashev and CJ Perry (Rusev & Lana) have each signed to WWE ahead of the RAW After Wrestlemania, but rumors were circulating that he could have been the mystery opponent for Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 41. According to the report, Rusev has signed a two-year deal while Lana signed a WWE Legends contract. In the Deadline report, Perry gave a quote to explain their excitement and the goal for the two.
“Rusev is back to crush the WWE and become World Champion. We have been cooking this up from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left, and with the help of Paradigm, we were able to make this a reality! Machka Crush.”
Paradigm is the talent agency that both Rusev & Lana are signed to. With the world championship in their sight, it will be intriguing to see what they are able to do. Rusev made his WWE television return on the RAW After Wrestlemania, attacking the Alpha Academy ahead of their improptu WWE World Tag Team Championship against The New Day. It appears that he is going to be on the WWE RAW roster and could be gunning for the WWE Intercontinental Championship as he builds up wins to reach that goal of winning the world championship.
