Brayden McNabb is one of the last remaining original misfits on the Golden Knights roster. After losing multiple misfits this past offseason, the Golden Knights management has decided to extend Brayden McNabb’s stay. McNabb’s time with the Las Vegas Golden Knights has only improved his career after a few years of stagnation. The 33-year-old has officially been locked down for another three years.
Brayden McNabb’s Delayed Start
Brayden McNabb was born in Davidson, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 2011, McNabb made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres at twenty years old. Time With the Knights
Brayden McNabb leads the team in blocked shots this season (36). He is also third place on the VGK roster for the most hits at 38. McNabb and the Golden Knights have meshed well with one another. His statistics, as well as the franchise’s reputation, corroborate. In his first season with the Golden Knights, he had a +26 rating. McNabb is not the most offensive blue-line player, but his defensive abilities prove reliable in high-stakes moments. Since being drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights, he leads the club in hits with 1,256, blocked shots with 1,144, and time on the ice at over 10,205 minutes.
Right At Home
Las Vegas Golden Knights Stanley Cup champion Brayden McNabb will stay in Las Vegas for another three years. The three-year extension is worth $10.95 million, with an annual average value of $3.6 million. After searching for his home in the NHL for over five years, McNabb has found his home in Vegas. After helping the Knights win the 2023 Stanley Cup Championships, he has continued to prove his loyalty and dependability on and off the ice. It looks like he will be wearing the #3 jersey for the Las Vegas Golden Knights a little while longer.
