Last week, they made a quick recovery thumping young boys 5 nil. In this away game at Deportivo Alaves, they were able to restore themselves to their winning ways.

His hat trick made it his ninth goal this season in La Liga, and 11th in all competitions. The Catalans needed a solid response to their 4-2 loss at Osasuna in their previous La Liga game. They had initially shown a great response in UCL, thumping Young Boys. However it wasn’t enough, more was needed, especially in their next La Liga game.

The goal was provided by a sublime pass from Raphinha. The Blaugranas didn’t stop, another came for their in-form Polish striker from another Raphinha delivery.
This gave the Catalans a solid lead. However, the host kept pressuring the Catalans in the hope of an equalizer. Soon another break saw Eric Garcia free up Lewandowski who made it 3-0. In the first half, the Catalans killed the game. In the second half, the host tried their damnedest best to find a consolation however they failed at the final third. Also came close with the likes of Pedri and Yamal, the score line didn’t go past 3-nil

Hansi Flick hailed his side’s beautiful performance, calling his players unbelievable. He said: “Every training and when you have meetings, you show them from the tactical side and also positions are very important, They are doing great and the dynamic from these players is unbelievable and helps us a lot. At the end, we score so many goals which is good for us and helps us also for the next matches to have this confidence in our game, in our idea to play football.”
Flick on Lewandoski
The German gave praises to their Polish striker. Praising his intelligence as a striker. He said: “Everyone supports Lewy and he knows what to do in the box – in front of the goal he’s the best player for me, He’s been amazing over such a [long] period, to score so many goals, it’s very good. I am very happy with him. You can see he’s 100% fit and the other team-mates are supporting him good.” Hansi Flick added: “His dynamic is really good and I think that he can still get even better, then he’s on his top, top level, then he could score a goal today. But I am very happy for him, it’s unbelievable what he’s doing.”
