Conor McGregor Gives a Massive Challenge to Belal Muhammad

Conor McGregor called out his fellow fighter.

Conor McGregor is not giving up on the UFC even after he injured his leg in the third fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. After that, a lot of things changed in his life, including the surgery of “Shin Bone.” They thought that they would see him fight with Michael Chandler for a long time, but Chandler moved to start a war with Charles Oliveira, and now McGregor does not have an opponent.

When Conor McGregor did not have a fight scheduled and had a lot of idle time, he faced Belal Muhammad. Belal has not lost for 11 fights in the 170-pound division and won the welterweight title by outclassing Leon Edwards in UFC 304.

Conor McGregor Mocking Belal

Conor McGregor has accused Muhammad of not having any recorded knockdowns in his welterweight career. In turn, McGregor has fought three times in the welterweight division and surprisingly most of them were knockouts and McGregor rose victorious. Conor McGregor said this during the interview:

“Check the stats. One hundred percent accuracy, this man hasn’t even got a knockdown in UFC history. Not one knockdown! It’s embarrassing, to be honest. Kind of slow-rolling a person because you just don’t give a bollocks. They’re all bums.” He also said this. “He’s woeful. I want to fight him. OK, Chandler is next. Belal-McGregor, UFC welterweight world title fight on the line. I have multiple knockouts at 170. I’m a force to be reckoned with at 170. I do damage at 170.”

Muhammad wasn’t Conor McGregor’s first pick for his return fight but it may prove fascinating if it was for the welterweight championship. Belal Muhammad then asked Conor McGregor and also replied to his callout after he accused him of the lack of knockouts in his fight record. He compared their stats and said that he was ready to fight and defend the title. Belal Muhammad replied to Conor McGregor and said this:

“Conor, how many times are we going to do this? You start calling my name out, I clap back, then you go missing again. Let’s stop this game, bro. We know you’re not coming back to fight us. We know you need help. You haven’t won a fight since 2020. The last Muslim fighter you sent location, he sent you to the hospital. So stop doing this to yourself. You don’t want this to happen again. I’d rather help you than fight you, bro. But if you do want to fight, Dana, hit my line.”

Final Thoughts

If Muhammad takes the fight with Conor McGregor, it looks like it might be a huge battle. But fans remain skeptical about the whole thing, mainly because the Notorious has proved more the once that he may not be serious about returning to UFC. The reason for that is simple, and that is money. Dana White has been asked multiple times about Conor McGregor not coming back to UFC.

He answered with the same reason that Conor McGregor is now worth millions and millions of dollars so the motivation factor has vanished from the fighter. If we look and analyze the other side of Conor McGregor’s UFC career then if he comes back to UFC. If he performs well or maybe secures a win before he retires, people might start considering him as a real fighter and a serious person who is true to his words.
